I love textures. Well done!
Glad to hear. I will add some location information tomorrow. I wanted it to start as a semi-abstract image.I love textures. Well done!
I took this photograph in Pawtuxet Village. The bridge connecting Warwick to Cranston has nice views of the river and the cove. This was shot looking down on the river view side, almost 90 degrees down. I was drawn to the rock formations, especially this one, reminiscent of a meditative face. I captured it at a high shutter speed, so the water on the left looks like a textured surface. Together, they created for me a found abstract.
Interesting. On my first look, I thought that the darker elements of the photo were just a darker type of rock. Turns out it’s water. Now that you pointed it out, I see it. Very well done. I like old boats, and I like textures, and you caught both. Thanks for sharing.Down south visiting relatives, took a day out and popped along to Dungeness.

I wanted to give viewers the space to interpret the image as they wanted, so I held off on clear explanations.Interesting. On my first look, I thought that the darker elements of the photo were just a darker type of rock. Turns out it’s water. Now that you pointed it out, I see it. Thanks.
I don't think so. I can visualize seeing this in real life with the position of the sun (time of day) and clouds.I looked directly South into the sun and in the very far distance I saw a deer walking on the beach. As you can image a normal edit look very underwhelming, so...
I edited for Tonality and the look of Oil on Canvas - cropped about 50% (no Presets used). Perhaps a bit too much editing?

Hi Andrea,
Hi Pavel,Past bloom, not past beauty. A field patiently waiting for harvest, with a few stubborn red poppies refusing to say goodbye.

Very nice!
So much for Auto level. Fixed, and thanks.Hi Dean,
Right place, perfect timing and a pleasing edit - love the colour palette and the haze enhanced graduations between the different elements.
(Our only feedback would be to recommend you consider straightening the slight right-left tilt).
Nice work - thank you for sharing...
