I go to our lake most mornings around sunrise, never know what I'll see. This beautiful turtle (snapper of some sort) clawed his way out recently. I love that I see these things. I had gone out to see if I could find the baby wood ducks. I added the last pic only to show how easily distracted I am! I had just gotten down to mrs. turtle's level when I saw the ducks and changed direction. I need to FOCUS!
Adding info- these were shot at sunrise which had not gotten anywhere near the lake 10,000 ISO. Grainy but I was close so they aren't too cropped . I have a bunch of cameras no other would have given me any quality at 10,000 ISO
Shutter 250, hand held which for me is a miracle
100-500mm lens at 238mm
And because I never think of everything I was at f11! Had I thought to drop that I'd have so much better images.
