I have just received from my LAOWA contact the RF 85mm Ultra Macro 2:1 lens.

Of course I have had no time to do anything significant (i.e. going for proper composition and worthy subject matter) before the desire to share an image or two became too irresitable.

I managed a spider in it's web and found an old rotting piece of rope (skipping rope maybe) down the path neat the house. I had reset the R10 to it's basic settings because I couldn't get the lens to fire (before making the menu adjustment to allow it...)

Here they are.

Heh Laowa.
Is yours also fixed in the "extension tube mode" without infinity focus?
I picked up the 28mm Ultra Macro 5:1 recently, and only had a very limited time with it so far. The magnification is great, but working with it is a bit of a PITA.

The LAOWA 85mm f/5.6 lens is entirely contained neatly in the body - just 78mm long! It focuses to infinity and of course down to 2:1

I'm fortunate to be an ambassador for them despite my limited ability compared to some of their more experienced YouTubers - I have been afforded this this lens, the 60mm Ultra 2:1 and the 15mm wide angle lens, which is very niche!
Like all new lenses, it will need practicing with, but having been using their 60mm lens for a good while now, the biggest difference is weight and size. The 60mm is very large in comparison.
