When I got my R7 I just got the body and no RFs lenses. I felt I had enough RF and EF mount lenses that I didn't really need another lens. But yesterday I saw the RFs 18-45mm refurbished for $124 which is more than half off the normal price, typically around $300. It's a 3rd party seller through Amazon, free shipping and maybe no sales tax and a 90 day warranty. So I am tempted at that price.

I thought it might make a good walk about lens.

Anyone here own one and what are your opinions?

It's the kit lens with the R50. I expect it to be competent but not anything special. It is small and light. On the R7 it might look tiny. For the price it is reasonable to try I guess.
