Displaying EXIF Data with Images

If you upload an image to one of the forums and this includes EXIF data then the following EXIF fields will be displayed underneath your image:

• Camera
• Lens
• Focal Length
• Aperture
• Shutter Speed
• ISO

This only works when you insert a full size image, it won't work with thumbnails.

If you don't wish to display this under the image then you can uncheck the box "Show image attachments EXIF data" in your account preferences. However, this only stops EXIF from displaying underneath your images, when you click the image and it opens in the larger "lightbox" the metadata is still visible in the side panel.

When an image is clicked and opened in the larger window then the following EXIF fields are visible in the side panel:

• Camera
• Lens
• Aperture
• Focal length
• Shutter Speed
• ISO
• Flash On/Off
• File Name
• Date Taken

It's not currently possible to disable this, so if you don't want to display EXIF data at all, it's best to strip this out before uploading.
