I'm a fairly experienced (but not professional) photographer who for many years focused on shooting landscapes (originally with B&W film and a medium-format camera), and a few months ago I started shooting birds and wildlife in preparation for a trip to Antartica (trip for this year got cancelled but hopefully will mark it there in Nov 2022). I realized quickly that to shoot these subjects effectively I would need to give my equipment a serious upgrade, so now I am the happy owner of both an R5 and an R6.

Welcome and thank you for joining up here Melissa. A trip to Antartica sounds amazing! I think a trip like that I'd definitely be taking a backup camera, so it's great that you have both the R5 and R6 already in preparation! :)
