Just a quick note to introduce myself. I actually got my R5 last July and can count the number of times (on one hand) I have really gotten to use it. I am a nurse and must admit my job has been very busy this last year. Finally getting to have the chance to take some images next month will be going to South Africa and Kenya for three and a half weeks. I have the RF 85 1.2 (which I love) have the adaptor for my EF lens which works great and the RF 1.4 extender. I have also ordered the 100-500 from B&H but still waiting to get that one. So will be renting that one for my trip. I look forward to sharing and also enjoying photography with you all. Take Care everyone.

Welcome and thank you for joining up here Memoriee. I'm sure you will make up for the lack of shooting in South Africa and Kenya, that sounds like a great trip! Hope you get chance to relax a little too after such a busy year. If you have any questions about this site please don't hesitate to ask.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
