Hi! I started taking photos with an old Brownie and used my dad's contact printer to print my own photos many years ago. I then bought a Pentax SLR which I used for many years and took thousands of photos and slide. Then along came the EOS Digital Rebel, known here as the 400D. I then upgraded to a 5DII when I went semi pro. When I retired, I bought an M3 to go mirrorless but found it a little fiddley for my big hands. So when the R7 came along I recognized a winner for an enthusiast and put my name down. I waited 3 weeks but it finally came and I am starting to learn all of the exciting features.

I enjoy travel, scenery, birds and wild life photography and the obligatory family snaps including my two dogs

Welcome Don and thank you for joining up here and introducing yourself. 3 weeks isn't a long wait for the R7, I know many people waiting over 3 months here. I did have one on order myself but the wait was so long I decided I can live without it for now, certainly a decision that my wife was happy with!
