Many years ago I had a Cosina C7 film camera but my foray into dslr's started with a Canon 500D (which a friend of mine still uses to this day with great results) then progressed through a few cameras until buying a R5 a couple of years ago.
My main interest is wildlife with an emphasis on birds and living close the the Somerset levels there is always plenty of opportunities to get out.
I currently have a RF 100-500 and have just purchased a RF 200-800 I also have a 1.4 and 2x converter.
