Thanks for adding me to the forum. I am an R5 owner in St Helens,North West UK. I mainly shoot birds and my dogs but bought the R5 with a view to taking up pet photography professionally. This forum looks amazing for everyone 's advice and tips and think it will me loads, thanks guys

Thanks for joining up here Mike and introducing yourself. Pets can definitely be challenging to work with, it's hard enough taking photos of my own dog let alone anyone else's! How's it coming along?

Still experimenting with settings. My dog's eyes are quite dark and I have had problems focusing, so am going to try without eye tracking or small aperture next time out
