Spring has officially arrived now that I saw first prairie crocus (pasque flower). Not very many out yet but there was a few although snow is forecast for later this week .

Thanks for the memories. We had a cottage in the Canadian Boreal forest for 30 years. There was one spot on the drive up that had these popping up. We always pulled over.

As a former Calgarian, it's nice to see those, an early sign of spring. Sometimes they grow up through the snow. They are pretty, but it is hard to get a really nice pic of them.
