OK. I'm convinced.

One of the files arrived as a file less than 2Mb. I could zoom to 5357 x 3648. it looked almost perfect. When you zoom in that much you are bound to see errors in any picture.

I will give the app a go and see how well I can edit a picture it after it has been through it. Not today though

They have a free trial. You can see how much use you'd get out of it.

I've had jpegminipro for a while and I used it for a while and then I forgot all about it, I never made it a part of my workflow... thank you for reminding me! I'll have to look into version 3, I still have version 2.
