You can get 15 with the R7 with a supported lens; that's not too far off. In a different thread we discussed the possibility of using H+ MS with flash and doing a handheld stack. It takes some practice but I think there's potential there if one's hands are steady enough.

I pretty well always use EFCS and shoot bursts at 7 fps. For not-too-small subjects, that should give an OK stack. Yes, some practice is necessary, and the subject should be stationary.

Updated one of my R3s (never both right away) and now I get fun things like video remaining time on the LCD when I’m shooting stills, and switching to and from video mode switches me into video mode “permanently” until I shut the camera off.

Gonna wait a bit to update my other.

That sounds like what happened to me when I bumped the lever to video last week. Which coincidentally happened around the same time that I updated the firmware!
