Canon RP RP Shooters

It looks like I'm in the minority here, but I'm a happy owner of an RP with the 24-105 kit lens, along
with an EF - EOS R adapter, so that I can use my existing EF (and even EF-S) glass.

In future, when $$ permits, I may upgrade the body, and sell my second body, a 6D.

Meanwhile, I'm plotting out my next lens purchase...

Purchased RP and a converter for FD lens. The converter was on back order for over a month. Saw how inexpensive the 50mm 1.8 was so purchased it Love it's sharpness and ease of use. The FD lens are fun to use, the focus assist on the RP does not stand up to the competition. Unless there are some sharp lines and bright areas the focus highlights are hard to see. Canon has a better system on their other R's.

FD 100mm 2.8F
FD 28mm 2.8F
FD 24mm 2.8F
all FD's take the same 55mm filter. The RF lens don't share filters across as broad a range.

I bought the RP in 2019 and it came with the basic ef adapter thrown in and i
also got the RF 35 1.8

I already had
EF 85 1.8
EF 50stm 1.8

And an ef 24 2.8

So I have the R8 on order and that comes with the RF 50mm as a freebie.

I also picked up the RF 16 2.8
The Tamron has been good but if it doesn't work well with the R8 I'll probably pickup the RF 100-400 for my wildlife stuff.
