  1. Yes
I have three months left on my warranty so the R7 is heading back to Canon for a small but persistent problem. I have two of the back buttons set up for focus initiation. If I hold the <AF-ON> button down while pressing the shutter button, the camera will sometime continue firing multiple extra frames even after letting off pressing the shutter button. I admit it has improved my follow-through as I hold very still now even after releasing the shutter button. The other possible problem is either a real or an imagined loss in image quality over the last nine months. Otherwise, the camera has been my go to since purchase. I did go back to the R5 for birding a bit just to get a reference and that's when I noticed the image quality issue. The R5 is also a bit better at locking onto the eyes of birds with more keepers. If and when I get the R7 back, I shall really delve into settings and hope to improve that comparison.

I've read about that before. Does it feel sticky or does it just continue to fire with a properly functioning shutter button?

The shutter button feels totally normal with no physical symptoms. It's intermittent as well and only happens one time in five.
