  1. Yes
I joined this site to learn more about cameras, photography, composition, etc., but it turns out that there is much, much more. I’ve learned about birds, flowers, plants, architecture, philosophy, art, and more stuff than I can remember. This place is a bargain. Waaaay better than some of the self anointed experts on You Tube I used to watch.

Well said Dale. Great place to learn about and see so many new places. Not sure about “bargain”, my bucket list keeps getting longer and longer 😀

I agree with you. YouTube has it's place but you have to sift through that stuff. For Adobe Julieanne Kost, Brian Matiash are just two examples. Select known lens and body presenters can be very helpful.

You are correct about You Tube. Some of that stuff needs to be taken with not just a grain of salt, but a shovel full of salt.

There are some superb photographers that post on this site, and I am lucky that they share not only their technical expertise, but their personal insights into how they think about the photos they make. There's something for everybody here. This site is a valuable asset.

Agree!
Viewing the shared photos provides inspiration. Aside from the knowledge gained, there is much entertainment value in many user comments! :ROFLMAO:
