Waiting time for RF 100-500

I'm currently on a list for the RF 100-500 and I'm curious as to how long others have had to wait for their order to be filled. It seems that the lens is in high demand and none of the dealers can give an estimate as to how long the wait will be.

It is a great lens. I am in the UK and got it after 2 days ... but ... went grey import as it was only available that way. I am unsure how you get on with that in the US but in the UK I have bought all of our kit from importers for the past 15 years without issue. HDEW and UK Camera Club here. I know some don't like them but tbh my wife was a professional and I saved a lot with only one issue which was sorted asap by HDEW.

Keep an eye on Best Buy’s website. They seem to get limited stock frequently but it is usually gone within a day or two. I recently picked up the RF 800mm f/11 there while B&H, Adorama and local shops haven’t seen this lens in months.

I saw it was available last nigjt and called to order it. The woman from Canon said that they were having computer problems and it was listed as available but it really wasn't. I hope you are able to get yours but according to Canon they don't have any and they aren't expecting any in the near future.
