Is that black tail deer? We live in SE Alaska and we have a lot of wildlife like that on our property too. Are you in the Pacific Northwest?

Michigan. White tail deer. They’re like rats around here. Man is the only predator so they’re pretty much unchecked. Very comfortable in suburbia where traffic is the only danger to them.

Bear exist, but few and far between. If there’s a sighting, it hits the news.
