This is quite a popular thread on the Sony forum that I run so hopefully it will be popular here too (thanks Brownie!).

Simply post any purchases or sales/trades of photo gear. This could be anything from a filter to a new computer purchased for editing. Software, accessories, and of course bodies and lenses!

I've been fairly good recently and have resisted my GAS urge. My last purchase was a pair of Vallerret Tinden Photography Gloves to keep my hands nice and toasty during our colder snaps. They definitely did the trick although they are a little bulky which I found made it difficult to get a good grip on my R5 with the 100-500 attached as there is very little room between the lens and grip. Hopefully heading into April I won't be needing them for a while now!

Well, I bought a M.Zuiko 150-400 f/4.5 super telephoto lens for the Micro Four Thirds System (Probably doesn't count as it is not for an RF Camera)

I sold a gitzo travel tripod as I have another I use .
Still trying to sell my canon 1dx & a manfrotto carbon tripod.
( who knows what I will buy when they sell lol )

Not this week but over a couple weeks I sold my RP to MPB and bought and R6 mark II. I also bought an EL-100 flash for my wife’s M6 mark II.

I have an extra brand new EF-EOS R adapter (box not opened) that I might trade for something at my local camera shop. Said they’d pay $50 or give $70-$80 in merchandise credit for it. It was ‘free’ so that works.

I bought an Ares Hot Shoe Cover for my EOS R. Don't know why I wanted it as I have not had such a cover in about 30 years of photography....haha.

Oh.....I bought two because they were cheap and I figure I will lose one....even though I don't know why I need it. 🤣

I bought the Aperture Jacket and Raptor Waistcoat because it's the best photography apparel I could find, and because it's a 50% fire sale.

Bought the RF 1.4 extender to pair with the 100-500 lens to give me a bit of extra reach. Not used in anger yet, but looking forward to trying it out this weekend.

Me too---RF 1.4 extender two days ago. Of course, it's been raining for two days straight now. I'll get to try it out Mon. or Tues.

Sorry, haven’t sold anything recently and too busy thinking about buying a little extra gear (Canon Pro1000 printer, RF 1.4x, RF 24-70 f/2.8 - maybe and a backup Canon). Just need to find a way of getting it by the wife or it’s the dog house for me and it gets serious cold over here in Canada 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I can see this is going to be an expensive thread. Couldn't resist the Raptor Waistcoat...

I bought a $67 hard backpack from Amazon:

TARION Camera Backpack Hardshell DSLR Camera Bag 3-side Hard Case Photography Backpack

Do I need another backpack since I already have 20 other backpacks and bags? I have Pelican roller bag hard cases but no other hard backpack.
I do like the right case for the right job! I am also maybe a bad aholic? I do enjoy trying new cases and backpacks.

Canon RF 100mm 2.8 L Macro IS USM after my ancient adapted EF 100/2.8 USM broke down (that is, intermittently the aperture blades would not re-open completely after having taken a shot).

A spare Canon battery from B&H.

I sold my EF 70-200 f/2.8 and my EF 16-35 and bought in on the Benro kickstarter for their new Theta tripod.

The Theta design is quite interesting, self leveling and all of that. I'd really like to hear how it works once you've had the opportunity to try it out.

Well let's see.....I bought a RF24mm 1.8 macro today for my R7 (works amazing by the way) and am now selling my EF35mm F2 IS USM
Funny, I thought the EF 35 was a great lens.....until today.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
