Love the leading lines.A couple of bridges from our recent visit to the Elan Vally in the Cambrian Mountains of mid-Wales. The grim skies were useful for adding a little drama (though less so for remaining dry... ).

1. This bridge is the 3rd to be sited here - the original one being used to access the workforce accommodation and compound during the construction of the Elan Valley dams. (It has been condemned as unsafe and is no longer in use).

2. This 'interestingly bouncy and swingy' bridge is provided to allow walkers - and in our case cyclists - to cross the Afon Elan (Elan River) to the sounds of increasingly nervous giggling...
