As we walk around whether in the neighborhood or on vacations our eyes are attracted to something and we choose to either ignore it or pick it up and carry it around.

Some of these make it home.... and here is a closer look.

These are all focus stacked,(10- 50 images) in conjunction with stacking an 11mm and 18mm extension tubes.

I cannot wait to retire - so many things I want to do but simply do not have the time.

These are lots of fun. Ordinary things look interesting magnified by the macro lens. The focus stacking worked well.

I was planning to do more stacking this season, of insects. But it is really hard to find bugs that remain still enough to get a good stack.

Maybe I should switch to mushrooms.
