Thanks! I'm looking forward to playing around with it. Probably going to gaff tape the defocus control at zero, though.
 
Jake's post above reminded me that I ordered, but haven't yet received, a Radiant Diffuser for macro photography. I have several types of diffusers but still haven't found the "magic one" yet. :p
 
I have just bought a QR plate for the 200-800 from China. Promised delivery by 4th June, and I'm heading off on a trip on the 6th so fingers crossed!
Although the 200-800 is pretty lightweight I decided it might be beneficial to tripod mount it on occasions.
 
I bought a new Tamron 24-70mm EF G2 lens to replace my beloved G1 version. This was my first new lens since I bought my first Tamron lens new in 1997 or 98...can't remember exactly the year....I think I am getting old. :p
 
I just got back from the store. I bought the RF 50mm F1.8 today

I just pulled the trigger on the RF 100 2.8 Macro today. Arriving tomorrow. Can wait as lots of blooms and bugs currently.
I also snagged a RF 50 1.8 to replace the EF 50 1.8 I was using with adapter that I gave to my son for his DSLR.
