Atomos Ninja 5 - still loud?

I’ve been reading comments from a few years ago about loud fans in Atomos ninja 5 units. Are the units they are making now equally loud?

Yes, you can hear the fan. But it is not as big a problem as people claim. I've been recording videos with Atomos Ninja V in a close to completely quiet room, with a microphone external to the camera less than 2 meters from the unit, and the microphone would not pick up any of the fan noise. Zero.
