I've been trying to determine the best auto-focus case settings for my new Canon R5, using my EF 100-400 w/1.4 extender. I thought that hummingbirds would be the best subjects to test....they're fast, small, readily available, and very challenging to the auto-focus tracking system. Of course, I'm shooting fast at 1/2500 to 1/5000 and equally high ISO. My main concern is tracking and keeping the focus while the bird jolts through the sky. I set up a dual back button focus to alternate between single spot autofocus and face/eye detection. I've attached a copy of my case settings.....comments will be appreciated
