I just found out about RFS from DPR, apparently I first joined DPR from 2005...... Anyway, that's a pretty good timing for me as I just replaced my old EF cameras with an R7 last year, I bet that this will be a good place to hang around. Let's see if I can start shooting airshows again (since the lockdown began). ;)

Welcome JHG and thanks for joining up here. I hope you make it to a couple of airshows this year. I’ll be going to RIAT for the first time in quite a few years. Let me know if you have any questions about the forum.

Thanks! I may skip RIAT this year. Looking at my Lightroom albums, my last RIAT was in 2017 where they had a huge presence of the USAF with both the stealth fighters as well as the B-1B and U2 in static display. I think the highlight for this year is going to be the Harrier, which I miss most. Hope you enjoy RIAT this year! And of course, hope for the best weather!

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
