It will come without the need to create a DNG when using Denoise AI, similar to ACR. Finally. Several other goodies as well. Info is just starting to leak out here and there but no official announcement yet. Might be a few more days.

When I messed around with the ACR version it created an xmp and an acr file located beside where you store your RAW files. You can delete those but it is an extra step.

There are no extra files when you use ADAI. Also the original RAW file does not increase in size. Looks like it is all catalogue based and I did not notice any lag during developing. No speed improvement applying ADAI so it looks like the Neural Engine is still disabled. Hopefully Adobe enables the NE soon. I read on the Adobe forums they do major releases/upgrades about every 8 weeks. Bugs, RAW support, etc more often as needed.

Almost there. IMO all LrC needs now is a Sharpen AI module. I still keep Topaz Sharpen AI around which has not had an update since March 24, 2022 and never will. Still works good but I don't use it very often. Topaz AI is too costly for my current needs.

He plugs a bit but it's pretty good.
