Hey all - hope you are having a great day. Anyone have any thoughts on why Canon chose to have the flash disabled when using the electronic lens?

Not sure but I'm guessing the electronic read-out is too slow (similar reason why there's rolling shutter on e-shutter), so it's better to use actual curtain for correct exposure.
