Have a local park lake nearby, made a couple of visits in the late afternoon. Parks are great places to shoot at. The birdlife in general is less wary of humans, so you can get up close and personal. I took the R7 out as I have been using the R5 of late. The focus was bang on for most of my images. A nice way to while a couple of hours. Shame I couldn't get some closer images of the Kingfisher in flight, perhaps next time.

Great set of images. I have a park with 2 lakes, one street away from where I live. Must take the 800/F11 and R5 and see what I come up with.

This camera is FANTASTIC. I'm a dog sports shooter, so very fast indoor action with a lot of obstacles to shoot in and around. This camera does a...

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
