Very effectively done, Stephen!

Bug season is beginning where I live, and I want to try more focus stacking of macro subjects when the bugs come back.

Asian giant hornet (オオスズメバチ ōsuzumebachi). Can be quite dangerous...something I always keep an eye out for when hiking around. You don't want to stumble across a swarm of these things.

Interesting hornet. It's always good to be polite around hornets! :)

I went outside for a bit and caught a few bugs, though they almost got me. I had a wasp fly into my hair and try to burrow. There was a lizard and tarantula but they moved too fast for me. I found the tarantula's hole, so I'll stalk it in a bit and hope I can catch a good picture of it. Here are some pics I got when I stepped outside my house; I was outside for about 10 minutes.

My husband saw a coral snake when he was calling our dogs back into our house a few weeks ago, so needless to say I don't venture out much. I try to keep it from the car into the house, but even then, I've got an injury from a little over a year ago when I was getting out of the truck and there was a snake by the tire, I think it was under the hood and when I moved the truck, it fell by the tire and was slithering out from under the truck.
