Is it taking anyone else forever to get an R5 body only? I’ve been waiting since February to get my hands on one!

I’m trying hard to stay loyal to the shop my order is at....gonna give it another week, but waiting is just so hard!

I finally got my R5 today! dumb question maybe, but will I still need to run the update since this is an order from a fresh shipment.

In the menu system go to the tools Icon (yellow menu). Tab 4. Firmware. If you have a lens or any other accessories that have firmware attached to your camera, enter this option and each of the accessory Firmware will be listed. the Firmware version for each will be listed.

ok great - mine was already factory set to lates firmware

It would make sense that the update would already be installed, but you can easily tell by checking the version on your camera.
