Full Frame RF 35mm F1.4 L VCM Pre-Release

I've seen some reviews and it indeed does look like a very nice addition to the RF lens lineup. The smooth aperture ring will be a great feature for video shooters. If I were more into video I'm sure Id be all over this lens. The 11 blade diaphragm is bound to yield some amazing bokeh.

Wow. At a pre-release price of $1500, the new RF lens beats the pants off the second edition EF 35mm F1.4 L that's $2K brand new and roughly $1200 in "excellent" used condition. I'm going to restrain myself, though, and wait to see how the R5 MK2 is priced, and what I'll need to sell to get it.
