I don' know about everybody else, but for me the single best thing with 1.3 on the R5 is that I can now save my camera settings to card! Happy vs relieved.

The camera has to go back to canon and I was dreading trying to work out how to write all my settings down and how to put them back on once they had inevitably reset the camera. Absolute result!

It sounds like you can save 10 settings on one card. If you have more you can use another card. I haven't tried it but I have a lot of settings.

If you don't change the default file name it's 9 full sets of settings (1..9). If you change the file name then you have a bit more scope, but all files must be 8 characters long and it's tiresome as it defaults back to Canon's chosen name each time. You can, of course, also store the files to a computer (always a good idea to back things up!) and make another set on the card. Definitely more than 10 possibilities, though an odd implementation from Canon.

Thank you. That is so good to know. The manual wasn’t as helpful.
