Tips for landscapes at 10mm

So, I've been on a binge lately and an RF 10-20mm f/4 mysteriously landed on my porch this week. Needing some inspiration for how to shoot with it, I stumbled on this article from a few years ago. Maybe I should take just this one lens to Europe this year...

Hi Steven, I don't have the RF 10-20mm f/4, however I have two excellent Canon zoom lenses, the ultra-wide RF 14-35mm f/4 IS USM and the super zoom RF 24-240mm f/4-6.3 IS USM. For a European tour I think your best choice would be to have the widest overall zoom range possible. When you are inside a church or basilica you will want to take wide angle shots of the interior as well as shots of fine details with a super zoom lens. With the 10-20mm you will need to pay attention to holding the camera leveled, unless otherwise your pictures with these beasts will result in enormous perspective distortion. Sometimes it can be recovered in post, sometimes not. Hope this helps.

And to keep your camera level I heartily recommend enabling the level view in your viewfinder. I never turn it off (even when I don't intend to shoot on a horizontal level!).
