I also have a fascination with old structures.

Come to Savannah. We have old structures all over the place. I was talking to a German friend of mine a while back, and we were discussing the old Savannah buildings. I was bragging about how a lot of the structures were 200 years old or more, and feeling kind of smug. He casually mentioned that the house he grew up in was 800 years old, and that it was one of the newer ones in his town. I was a lot less smug after after that.
