Buildings from the 19th Century Randall Square industrial park and mill district along the Moshasuck River in Providence, Rhode Island. Both have been repurposed for office space.

2 Charles Street. The Fletcher Manufacturing Co. built in 1869. It has brownstone trim, a mansard roof, and bracketed dormers. Narrow fabric including twines, yarns, wicks, and boot, shoe, and corset laces were manufactured there.

Dover Castle commands the Strait of Dover, a position of strategic importance throughout history.

Another stunning and enjoybable set of images to pique to the imagination and curiosity of my history-interested mind. It was fascinating to learn how this structure was adapted over time to meet contemporary challenges.

Double Crested cormorant enjoying lunch in the local storm water run-off pond. Our city does not stock these ponds so it is a goldfish or Prussian carp that people have released into the water. But it does give me something to shoot.
