Welcome to our Canon RF Shooters Forum

Be apart of something great, join today!

I am recovering from a knee injury so have not been able to get out to take photos. Looking through my recent image folders before my injury I found this perched Red-Shouldered Hawk

Hi Art,

Very sorry to read of your woes - our best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

In the meantime, thank you for taking the time to post this sublime capture of an achingly beautiful creature - a joy to behold.

A couple years ago I picked up a Pinhole body cap that doesn't claim to mimic a real pinhole camera...and it shows!

Since the quality is at best, POOR. I thought I would try using Canon's Pixel-Shift (IBIS: High Resolution shooting) for a high-resolution jpg image.

Editing to achieve a Medium Format look

About 10 seconds after I began pulling my tripod out the could opened up and the rains came down.

Hi Dean,

Imaginative use of tech to produce a wiped out/ post-apocalypse style image.

The result is strangely engaging and pleasing.

Great stuff - thank you for sharing... 🙂

Got a short opening of sun today so I raced to the airport. Not quite as good a day as I would have liked but I'll be back. Still shaking the rust off.

Someone stacked some skids so I didn't have to shoot through the fence this time. Runway is behind me.

Hi Only RF,

Nailed on BIF shots - though the last one looks a bit of an old crate...

Well done - and thank you for sharing... 🙂

My granddaughter joined her high school lacrosse team and this was their first game. She is a junior this year and the team is a new one so a lot of the girls are learning from scratch. Watching them with those "sticks" as they are called chasing the small ball made me think of Harry Potter and the others playing quidditch. It was my first lacrosse match so I wasn't sure what to take, ended up with the R6 MKII and the 200-800mm lens, which proved to be a bit too much. Next time I will take the 100-500mm. Hi Chris,

A series of excellent action shots of an alarming looking sport (good to see the eye protection) - plenty of joy (and skilful wizardry!) in evidence.

Well done - and thank you for sharing... 🙂

Had the RF800F11 for about a month now and it just continues to impress me. The only thing I would like to see improved considering cost is for Canon to upgrade the AF motor to the latest 'L' series tech.

Hi Michael,

Three wonderful shots to showcase your tech (and talents!).

(Hard to pick a favourite, but #3 takes some beating).

Thank you for sharing... 🙂

As we continue to dry out after a soggy - but enjoyable - weekend at Chester Zoo (4,000+ raw files to chew through!), some images from an earlier visit.

(Shot raw and processed using: DxO PL E, Adobe LrC/ PS with Tony Kuyper Panels and Topaz Labs Studio. Compilations are Karen - R7 and Phil - R5).
