Nearby Sapporo , about 40 minutes train ride , there's Otaru and it's charming canal . The light fixtures are still gas lit . A Golden Hour shot with the lights on is still on my bucket list of shots . View attachment 43175

While we wait for the snow to slowly melt, this morning we were treated to some fog The far bank of the river is only 3 miles away. I also had a tug boat crawl by.
The river is full of ice at bottom of the pictures.
