That was a magic moment! Excellent capture.Sometimes you’re in the right place at the right time.
I'll start a thread in that forum for discussion. Don't want to be off-topic in this one!Y’all need to go look at this one…very well done!
He mentions that the Adobe Project Indigo app was used in the capture of the photo. With this post I’m asking him and anybody else that’s used the app to chime in. I’m patiently waiting for them to issue an Android version for my Pixel 9 Pro XL camera, and wanted to see what’s involved. I’ve read a few reviews, and some folks report that it takes a long time per photo to process/phone heats up, etc. They say it’s an improvement quality wise versus the overly processed images that phone cameras can give. Any first hand experience or links to other information would be appreciated. I’m retired and have some time on my hands, so I don’t have anything better to do than fool with this stuff.
Hi Walter,I feel like a tourist in the city that I live in.

Five stacked images (courtesy of Canon's DPP). Hand held. Equipement - EF 50mm f/1.8 II + 12mm extension tube. R5 body. Each image ISO400, f/8 @ 1/500s (info picked out of the CR3 files' EXIF data).
Environemnt. Sun (obviously). There was a slight breeze. Therefore multiple imperfectly aligned images went into the 'black box' of DPP's depth compositing tool. This can primarily be seen in (a) the plant stem (b) a hint of "hoop-in-hoop" flower structure at places around the margin of the flower head (3) some species of mite which makes 3 appearance. The central 'boss' of unopened flower buds appears to be much more aligned to reality.
Does this span 'motion' (June) and 'macro/close-up' (July) ?
(If you're not having fun, what is the point?)
Hi Walter,The Alexander Duncan Warehouse was built circa 1880. It's a former wharf warehouse backing up to the Providence River, and was used as an electric substation for 100 years. The angles accommodated a main railroad line with spurs that curved off into the warehouses. The angle was also useful on the wharf side where boats could pull in and upload cargo.
A small triangular section, built between 1899 and 1937, as seen in the photos below, was added to the front to make the north side align with the street.

This is Tasman Bay at the top of the South Island, as seen from a friend's house on a ridge above the city of Nelson. A southerly front was blowing through, and not long after these the heavens opened. Unfortunately the pix that best captured that little drama were taken with my iPhone... ;-)
Hi David,Nothing beats a 100% natural down jacket on a cold winter's day.
