Late comer to the thread, but absolutely love the idea. I often struggle for ideas, but just getting out and taking the picture will be a great thing. The weather in the West Midlands is awful at the moment, so I will start this next week when hopefully we will have a little sunshine.
 
Week 11 and the ducklings are already a week older. There were 7 last week and there are still 7 this week. So luckily the heron hasn't snatched any. There are only 5 in this picture, it's hard to get them all together! :)

They are very cute. I have seen a Blue Heron capture a merganzer duckling and it was very sad.
