Nice shot. Looks to be healthy and has a thick coat ready for winter. Was it aware of you taking the picture?
Jack, this was a captive coyote. Parc Omega is like a safari park. You shoot from your vehicle. The animals are in spacious and natural-looking enclosures. The coyote is used to the traffic and doesn't care.

(I'm a former Calgarian! I hope the snow isn't too deep there!)
 
👍🏻. No wonder it looks so good. No snow yet, but in the forecast for early next week ( but that could change) 😉
