Well I’ve waited for Adobe to come out with a Sharpen AI module (or buy DXO 😎 ) but nothing yet. Topaz Sharpen AI tech is 4 years old and I don’t need Photo AI or Photo as it is now called. I’m not too sure about this Adobe and Topaz partnership either.

I’m giving it a try and it is impressive which I expected. With lower ISO’s and files there is not that much difference with Adobe Denoise AI and my workflow. Adobe is good at high ISO but it’s that added heavier cropping where PR shines. Last time I used PR was version 2. DXO rebuilt DeepPrime since that version and it shows.

Unless Adobe releases something in the next two weeks looks like I’ll be investing in PR6.
 
I should say I really like the Adobe no DNG approach with the original RAW file at the end of edits so I will work with both.
