I'm an amateur photographer and just got serious about it as a hobby about 2 years ago starting with landscape photography. For the past year, I have been doing a lot of wildlife photography. I recently rented an R5 to try out and I was instantly hooked on the camera. Waiting on my R5 to arrive any day.

Thanks for joining up here and introducing yourself Mike! Great shot too! How did you find the 1.4x on the 100-500? If you have any questions about the site please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you! So far, I've only used the R5 setup for a couple of days when I rented it to try it out. My R5 should be here any day. The 1.4x seemed to work well on the 100-500 in the limited limited time that I had with it. AF speed and accuracy seemed to be similar to when I wasn't using it on the lens.
