Photography Challenge - Black & White

I had the pleasure of going to the Australian Open in January. Here's one of superstar Coco Gauff.

Two shots were taken the first week with R8, both with 24-105L f/4, one from Georgetown, TX, the other a night shot off of Rainey Street in Austin, TX.

I’ve been hearing good things about the R8.
I came from a D30, so for me huge move up. Amazing package. I don't shoot much video so IBS was not a concern, mostly landscape with some people. Been great and barely scratched the surface.

I helped put together a back to the 50s theme photoshoot. We partnered with a car club and the historical society to get permission to shoot in an abandoned neighborhood. We parked the cars on the street under the trees for shade, it was super sunny and hot but it was a lot of fun!

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
