An interesting set-up - and an intriguing composition/ cool colour tint which draws the viewer into the scene.

(You may wish to consider cropping a little tighter on the left side so that the near-most cover forms a nice swirly border).

Summer is in full swint in the SE area of Texas where I live. I led a few members of our photo club to a sunflower farm in Snook, Texas which is about a 2 hour drive from my home. 94 degrees F and very humid but we still had a fun time. We wanted to shoot towards and after sunset, the hardest part was finding the right spot as many we looked at had flowers that were spent or facing away from us. Finally had to off road on an old ditch to find a good spot. We brought step ladders as the sunflowers get so tall. I got some decent shots and also captured images of my fellow club members.

I had 3 lenses in my bag, the 14-35, 14-105 and the 70-200. Probably shot more with the latter two than the ultra wide.

@Chris for a real tripod you should have used an Orchard ladder. Great photos.
