Photography Challenge - Black & White

The Climber and the Dog

I primarily hike around with my R5, L-bracket with no strap and never had an issue. However after a few days hiking 6-10 hours through scree with the 100-500mm, I am seriously thinking of getting a Camera Clip for my backpack.

Oh, my, I feel tired merely by looking at where you are!! Something I can never do. I have for many years maintained a motto and most of my friends know it:

No pain? Good!

A clip may prove the motto.

I can't agree more.

BTW Dean, great shot!

A bit of driving and a bit of hiking and I found this wonderful composition at the edge of a precipice . In keeping converging lines to a minimum I needed to lay on the ground for the composition.

A recent re-edit of an image taken in our local Country Park, Hartshill, Warwickshire, England.

The girl in the shot was a complete stranger who paused in the right place at the right time - we provided her with a copy of the image.

Last March I was playing around with the typical glassware on a mirror, thinking something alone the lines of City of Glass Under the Full Moon.

The idea was a triple exposure focused on lighting. The first was the "Moon", the second was Magenta on the Left, and third Blue on the Right. In post I adjusting Magenta and Blues saturation differently and all other colors set to zero. The purpose was to have a Black and White adjusting the Hues.

I didn't like the results. The next morning after my first cup of coffee I decided to go back downstairs and put my toys away.

WOW!

Off to the right are two sliding glass doors off to the courtyard and the morning Sun. For two minutes the Sun caught the Bezel corner of the mirror...enough time to capture this. I set up White cardstock as a reflection. Nothing Epic, but fun all the same.
