Your Photo of the Week

Week 43 - Wood Duck - Not a common sight here. So glad to see them and happy for spring.

I lvoe the feel of this. It is so beautiful but seems so inhospitable.
Its an odd place Hali, tacked on the edge of Kent reclaimed from the sea back in the day. Fairly featureless except a few sheep, drainage ditches a canal and road favoured by weekend bikers who invariably require the services of a meat wagon to retrieve them from the ditches. A church stuck right in the middle of it all is a toggers hotspot. A shot of the church below, taken the same evening as the previous post.

Dungeness, just down the road from Romney Marsh. is another quirky favourite. The only desert in the UK.

One from todays testing at Brands. Trucks were out in force. All good until they crash.. they do huge damage and end up affecting the race schedule. Only had one fire and one off today no one hurt.👍

Great shot Mike! Always fancied going to see some truck racing!

Week 15, another from our trip to Maine. I literally froze my fingers on this sunrise shoot because I forgot my hand warmers in the hotel room.

Week 28.

Sorry that it has been so long since my last post here. Life has been rather busy but now that I have a house move out of the way and also now have a lot more nature directly on my doorstep, I can hopefully start shooting some more again.

Although we are expecting our second child in July so that might hamper my shooting plans slightly! :)

A little house sparrow in our new garden. I'm currently working on attracting as many different birds as possible! We have a great spotted woodpecker who visits most days, I just need to get a nice shot of him which is a challenge since he's quite flighty.
