Your Photo of the Week

Missed a few weeks of time between leaving my job (long story) and taking a trip to New Hampshire and Vermont for some Autumn color. That being said, here is another from my trip to Costa Rica. A tiny glass frog on a branch over a pool of water. The frog was not captive, but it was a set-up situation.

Lovely shot Hali. My wife loves these little frogs! I hope all works out well for you on the job front.

A youngish European starling in the garden. The leaves are changing now so it was nice to capture the golden colours in the background and the light was being kind as well.

Beautiful! They are so pretty, and the soft background is scrumptious.

A blackbird enjoying a little sun and probably looking for a juicy worm at the same time.

A little robin. Probably not enjoying the snow quite as much as I am.

This cock pheasant was waiting to greet me when I got home the other day. Most definitely the friendliest of perhaps stupidest pheasant I've come across, since they unfortunately get shot around here a lot.

Gosh, I've fallen off the wagon again. Started my new job and now I'm a moderator at VERO for RAW so I am kind of scatterbrained. Anyhow. I put the color version of this in flowers but here is the B&W.

A little European Goldfinch hoping that our recent dumping of snow doesn't hang around for too long.

Nice shot. I like the brooding feeling it gives as well.
