Didn't someone die there last month when they crossed the barrier or was that Punch Bowl at Cape Kiwanda?

Thank you, yes hooded mergansers.Wow, what a stunning image. The photo sharpness and detail is great as well as the capture of the pose of the mother and duckling (hooded mergansers?)
Thanks!!Hi Art,
Well, that’s knocked this month’s absolute cutie competition out of the park. That, is a seriously fabulous image.
Brilliant and beautiful!
Thank you so much for sharing…

Hi Steven,In Oregon, USA, on Highway 101 there's a place called Devil's Churn, a narrow channel carved deep into the coastline. Sometimes you can literally feel the sound of the waves. I stopped by there today on my way south, and captured far too many good shots to post here. This one provides a good sense of the size and power of the swells.

Always one of my favorite buildings in Providence to photograph. That and the Turks Head building. You did an outstanding job with these!Built in 1928, the Industrial Trust Building in Providence, Rhode Island is informally known as “the Superman Building” since it looks like the Daily Planet offices in the DC Comics series.View attachment 15744View attachment 15745View attachment 15746
Super capture. These birds are my nemesis. I've been trying to capture one in a good pose for years. I think they mock me.
Great shots, I love that Canada goose on approach and the Pelican one made me smile, I assume it just splashed down and had a gullet full of water and fish.
I struggle with them too.Super capture. These birds are my nemesis. I've been trying to capture one in a good pose for years. I think they mock me.
Nice. That is a shot I'd like to get.We were *supposed* to go to Curaçao last week but thanks to Jet Blue our plans got shifted. So instead of a week of fun in the sun out of touch we spent a week chasing wild ponies and birds in Assteague National Seashore and Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. Here is the first of many to come, probably.

A composite I put together for a 52 Frames weekly project. The weekly theme was Food. I went through the fridge photographing whatever I could grab. I liked the apple and lemon photo and used some textures in Photoshop to put it all together.
This is wonderful, I like the positioning and the different textures of the apple and the lemon, and it's a great texture that makes it all work well.A composite I put together for a 52 Frames weekly project.
