So what features would people like to see added to the R5 either via firmware update or a new R5 Mark II. Obviously one needs to be realistic about what's possible to add via firmware, there certainly won't be an increase in megapixels. Thanks to @Greg for suggesting this thread.

There is the faintest of a flicker when looking through the evf, blink and you miss it. Let's hope Canon give us a sound option in a firmware update

I don't understand why not. Its nigh on impossible to know if a picture has captured, if on servo how many.

That's why I'd prefer to be able to set limits on fps, just as I could with my 1DX2. I am happy to guess rather than have sound that others have to share if in company.

I agree with that. I just want the ability to know a frame has been captured, without guessing or checking. Silence is also useful.

I would love to have Zebra lines in stills photography, I have it on my Sony A7c and it is great.
I find it much harder to expose correctly with the R5 even with the histogram on.
Surely it would be simple to do in firmware

Zebra lines are stripes that show up on in the evf if the image is over exposed anywhere. So you just lower the exposure compensation before pressing the shutter.
