Me too. Got a bit of break from the rains. White sky and white bird and I don't really like this one but I got noting else to do.

My 15 year old granddaughter finally got her braces off after wearing them for 4 years! She asked me to take some portraits of her and her new smile! I set up some lights in my garage/workshop and after shooting there we stopped at a local park. It was overcast so very nice for outdoor portraits.

I shot with my Canon R, I still really love that camera for portraits, still life, and landscape. I mostly used the 24-105mm and the 70-200mm f/4 lenses.

(Very well done to your grand-daughter - a bright future awaits).

Thank you for sharing...

Globe Amongst the Stars

17 shot panorama stitched, squared, turned upside down, distorted to polar coordinates, and sky replacement (done poorly) with a bit of dodge and burn. I need to find or make a better star field.

Hi Only RF,

Well, you really nailed this pair of cuties - superb eye-catch-light and control of the light (an extremely challenging dynamic range here - to say the least).

Well done - and thank you for sharing... :)

On a barren hike, I was visited by a Black-capped Chickadee as I walked out.

Hi Jim,

A wonderful capture of a beautiful creature - superb fine feather detail and eye catch-light both evident here.

(And what an absolute little cutie too!).

Well done - and thank you for sharing... :)

Hi Mimi,

We love visiting zoos - always a fun photographic challenge with so many different subjects to try and capture.

(Our most recent visit this past weekend netted over 5,000 raw files - good luck with the processing Phil... )

You've done brilliantly here, with a terrific set of fascinating images which are guaranteed to delight any viewer.

Impossible to single out a favourite but the shot of the cloud leopard? (we think) is absolutely sublime.

Well done all-round - and thank you for sharing... :)

Hi Bartek,

Wonderful captures of truly magnificent creatures to showcase your tech (and talents!). Terrific detail evident throughout with great subject isolation.

Difficult to choose a favourite, but #3 (just) takes it.

Well done indeed - and thank you for sharing... :)
